Toxic cyanobacteria affect some zooplankton species negatively, whereas other species are less affected.My aim is to investigate differences in the reactions of certain cladoceran zooplankton species.I also focus genetic within-species variation (are there tolerant clones?).I screen effects on several parameters in laboratory experiments.I study effects of isolated toxins as well as live cyanobacteria.I furthermore investigate effects at the population level in mesocosmos.
